Early Life
In the year of 1997, the footprints of a great entertainer arrived in the world. From the first kick to the first step, Mr. Kalume Muyumba was destined to be one of the greatest dancers of all time. He was born on December 7, 1997 in Dominic Republic of Congo but raised in Covington, GA. It was the tender age of 7 when he fell in love with dancing as he watched Michael Jackson music videos. Then he started to imitate the styles of Michael Jackson and Chris Brown until he developed his own style of dancing. It started to become his craft where he can could only speak through dance, which gave life to the name “King Imprint” as he is nationally known in the entertainment industry. The name is perfectly fitting as he always leaves an imprint of his dance style everywhere he goes.
Career
His passion for the entertainment industry as a hip-hop dancer has made him a social media phenomenon as he has accumulated on YouTube over 300 millions views and 1 million subscribers on his channel. He is Instragram verified with over 835,000 followers. In addition, he has traveled to Chicago and performed live at Fresh Empire Squad Goals Juke Jam, hosted and performed at for Lets Dance Tour 2016, The Atlanta God Talent, Parade 2016, Kids Lives Matter Tour 2016, Kids Got Talent, Car & Bike Show 2016, and Georgia Dome.
He received BET Top 20 dancers in 2016 and was featured on TMZ and ESPN. His most popular videos have more than a million views, including "I Heart Memphis” and “The Hit the Quan Dance” video earned more than 17 million views in less than three months. He has collaborated with Def Jam Records and Nick Cannon; also featured in Young Thug, Little Yachty and Gucci Man videos.
King Imprint recently landed a campaigning opportunity to host & perform with Fresh Empire throughout the United States. He is currently in the studio with Oliver Taylor of HI ROC RECORDS preparing for the release of his two singles, The “Benny Whip” and his single from his EP called “Pronto”. He is a multitalented entertainer with his first love being dance! This is only the beginning for King Imprint as he is looking to expand his brand through music, acting and modeling.
